We've made it to a major milestones for the NFL Scotland podcast, so the whole team got together to share some of their personal podcast and NFL highlights so far, including our favourite ever player and game. We also hear the highlights from a few of our listeners!
We also speak to a Scottish Claymore wide receiver Scott Couper on his 10 year career in NFL Europe. We chat about how the opportunity came around, what the biggest challenges were and what it was like play for with and against players who had been in the game for years. For many Scott was the face of the franchise for us here in Scotland and it's great to hear from him on our 100th show.
We then discuss some of the latest news, including no UK games in 2020, Dalton to the Cowboys and we enjoy looking forward to Winston being the future Saints no.1.....well more of us do...

Paul and Cameron are joined by former Scottish Claymore QB and now coach Jim Ballard. We get Jim's expert opinion on the QBs taken in the 2020 draft.
We kick off though by discussing Baker Mayfield as last time we spoke Jim's expectations had been high. We chat about what went wrong and where the Browns can go from here.
We stay in Ohio to discuss Joe Burrow's arrival at the Bengals as Jim shares his thoughts on the player and personality side of the new Tiger King.

Cameron and Paul are joined by NFL Scotland regulars Jamie Borthwick and Charles Paterson as we get all sensationalist ahead of the 2020 draft. Paul kicks off by asking for any scenario where Burrow doesn't end up at the Bengals and we go from there.
The quarterback story remains a strong talking point but a run on tackles also comes up in conversation. Does Too go 3? Do the Redskins take Chase Young or use their position for more picks?
The conversation comes round to WRs and the depth at the position this year. With a rush of receivers expected in round one, Cameron takes us back to the last few drafts as a cautionary tail to reaching too high on a wideout too soon.

While the QBs and WRs might be grabbing the attention and the headlines, Gordon and Ian share their thoughts on some of the other players to keep an eye out for, some who might even make an unexpected appearance in the first round!
We look into some of the top players at the line and Ian shares his thoughts on why QBs of a certain style are getting more focused. Questions are raised about the risk appetite of the teams coming into an unusual draft where pro days, face to face meetings and physicals have not taken place.
